Business Events Perth is positioning itself for more business events with a 40% increase in meeting space over the last 5 years. Its in-house expertise and industry knowledge provides MICE planners with access to current market intelligence, local support, and assistance to bring events to Western Australia.

With a focus on authentic experiences, the JINA: WA Aboriginal Tourism Action Plan 2021-2025 is driving transformational change for Aboriginal tourism and establishing new cultural experiences.

Over the coming year, a new waterfront hotel at Elizbeth Quay will near completion (the hotel brand is yet to be announced). The central hub of Perth, Yagan Square, will begin redevelopment, generating a new shopping and culinary experience. Also, many of Perth’s hotels, Pan Pacific, the Duxton and The Hyatt are being renovated.

Fresh and unique programmes include harvesting pearls with Willie Creek Pearls in the heart of the city at Elizabeth Quay, and enjoying Optus Stadium’s HALO tour and VERTIGO experience.

Rottnest Island’s latest offerings

· Rottnest Cruises’ Luxe Island Seafood Cruise – hop on a 69-ft charter boat while cruising Rottnest’s coastline, and indulge in a 7-course menu of local ingredients and fresh seafood prepared by a private chef. Dishes include Australia’s sustainable seafood, Western Rock Lobster. Guests can also fish for their own lobster before it is cooked on deck.

· Skydive into one of 63 beaches and 20 bays surrounding the island.

· Ride on a segway, jet boat or kayak to experience the island and its waters.

· Hike with the Hike Collective to see the island’s sustainability and environmental conservation efforts.

Maya Maya at Mandoon Estate

Just 25 minutes away from the CBD is the new “luxe basecamp”, Maya Maya at Mandoon Estate in the Swan Valley, with 32 guest rooms, a pre-function foyer, and a pillarless event room for 400 pax and other outdoor spaces. The estate overlooks the historic Verdelho vines planted in 1895 and is renowned for its award-winning wines and hand-crafted beers.
