The Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) has launched the BE Fuelled-Up Campaign, a support initiative aimed at drawing more international business events to Malaysia.

The campaign offers one full-day Daily Conference Package for eligible international events held for at least three days at participating hotels and venues. It applies to international and regional corporate meetings, incentive groups, conventions, association meetings and trade exhibitions.

Eligible applicants include associations, corporate companies, incentive houses, Destination Management Companies, Event Management Companies and exhibition organisers.

MyCEB said the campaign is expected to attract about 10,000 international delegates and generate an estimated RM146.87 million (US$36.3 million) in economic impact.

MyCEB CEO Tan Mei Phing commented: “BE Fuelled-Up strengthens Malaysia’s proposition in an increasingly competitive Business Events market. By working closely with our industry partners, we want to give international organisers another compelling reason to choose Malaysia for their next event.”
