An estimated 20,000 visitors will be expected to descend upon Hong Kong in 2026 as the city hosts the prestigious Lions International Convention.

The 2026 Lions International Convention will be held in July 2026, at the AsiaWorld-Expo next to the Hong Kong International Airport and marks the third time this landmark event and convention returns to the city – Hong Kong previously played host in 1992 and 2005.

"Hong Kong is ready to roar with excitement as we support the Lions Clubs International District 303 to host the 2026 Lions International Convention," said Dr. Pang Yiu-kai, GBS, JP, chairman of the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB).

“This event aligns with our mission to grow the MICE sector and bring the world's most prestigious events to our vibrant city and drive social and economic benefits for Hong Kong.”

The HKTB is one of the supporting organisations for the 2026 Lions International Convention and has promised to treat convention guests to an array of experiences that showcase the city’s diverse offerings during the period of the convention.
