The event, jointly organised by Fireworks Trade Media Group and NRG Exhibitions, took place from 23-25 July 2025.
A platform of four events, including the 5th Edition of Electronics Manufacturing Expo Asia (EMAX 2025), the 4th Edition of Penang Manufacturing Expo (PMAX), and the debut of Semiconductor Asia Expo (SMAX) and Asia Sustainable Factories Expo (ASFAX), were officially launched in July at the Setia SPICE Convention Centre in Penang.
The event, jointly organised by Fireworks Trade Media Group and NRG Exhibitions, and taking place from 23-25 July, gathered together more than 200 exhibitors from more than 40 countries and thousands of trade visitors, engineers, and decision-makers. Activities across the three days included technical seminars and live tech demos, a wire harness competition, business matching sessions, smart factory solution showcases, industry forums and conferences and an industry networking cocktail session.
The two new co-located expos include SMAX 2025 and ASFAX 2025. The former spotlights Asia’s semiconductor supply chain from materials and design to packaging and backend automation, while ASFAX 2025 focuses on energy-efficient factory solutions and ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) technologies for sustainable manufacturing across sectors.
