Louise Daley has been appointed deputy chief executive officer Asia Pacific for AccorHotels. She has been with the group for 26 years, relocating to Bangkok in 2002 and returning to  Australia in 2005 when she took on the roles of chief financial officer for AccorHotels Pacific followed by CEO of Accor Advantage Plus (now Accor Plus).

Sofitel Singapore City Centre, slated to open in Q2 2017, has named Wouter de Graaf its general manager. Born and raised in The Netherlands, de Graaf has over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry and has held senior roles at various international hotels in the U.S. and New Zealand.

Dorsett Hospitality International has promoted Rebecca Kwan to senior vice president of sales – Hong Kong and U.K.. In her new role, Kwan, who is also general manager for Lan Kwai Fong Hotel @ Kau U Fong, will partner respective area/general managers and hotel sales teams in Hong Kong and the U.K. regions to develop and implement regional sales strategies.

Michael Delargy has been appointed general manager for Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur, where he will be responsible for the strategic direction, guest satisfaction and daily operations of the newly renovated 420-room hotel. Prior to joining the hotel, Delargy spent three years as general manager of The Westin Nanjing, China.

Singapore Association of Convention and Exhibition Organisers and Suppliers (SACEOS) 37th executive committee has appointed Shirlena Soh (top) as its executive director and Anita Tan  (above) as its director of events & sales. Soh will maintain the financial sustainability of the association and provide leadership for the secretariat team, while Tan will look after the marketing and promotion of events, including the Singapore MICE Forum and 1-2-1 Asia Business Meet.
