WebBeds has appointed three senior executives to lead its operations in the Pacific region as it expands globally. 

The company, which operates the JacTravel, Sunhotels, Lots of Hotels, totalstay and FITRuums brands, has appointed John Stucci as president - Pacific, Grant Sumich as head of commercial - Pacific and Anthony Rumpel as hotel procurement manager - Pacific.

All three positions will be based in Sydney.

Having joined the company in July, Stucci now leads WebBeds' regional operations and expansion in the Pacific. He was previously vice president of sales and marketing at GTA, where he has worked for over 10 years. Stucci has been part of the company's global leadership team since 2012, and brings with him extensive experience in the travel industry, including airlines and GDS businesses.

Sumich joined WebBed's Sydney office in May, leading the company's commercial strategy in the region, including relationships with suppliers, agents and other partners. He was previously head of sales for Rezdy, a booking and distribution system for tours and attractions, and has spent nine years at GTA as head of sales.

Rumpel joined the company in July from GTA, where he worked in Australia and Thailand in areas including hotel sourcing, global commercial and technical training.
