Hotel room workouts will no longer be a bore with these ballet barre-inspired on-demand videos.
If you are tired of doing the same old jumping jacks and bedside dips in your hotel room as an attempt to stay in shape while travelling, you're not alone.

For those keen to change things up, here's something to get excited about: JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts, in partnership with The Joffrey
Ballet, has launched a series of complimentary on-demand workout videos centered on ballet barre techniques in its guestrooms, now available at its properties across Asia Pacific.

"Guests of JW Marriott are always seeking new and innovative ways to stay active while on the road," said Christy Donato, vice president, global brand management, JW Marriott. "Our partnership with The Joffrey Ballet provides an elevated fitness experience that goes beyond the traditional in-room workout, allowing our guests to tailor their fitness routine to best fit their travel schedule."

Filmed at the newly opened JW Marriott Los Cabos Beach Resort & Spa, the 'Behind the Barre' videos show two of Joffrey's professional ballet dancers engaging in fun but challenging workouts that incorporate the full-body barre
method, core strength and stretching.

Designed specifically for a guestroom environment, the workouts allow travellers to enjoy a fitness class workout in a private setting - all at their convenience.

This is the second time the duo are collaborating - in 2014, the two companies launched a training initiative to teach employees how to exhibit finesse and gracefulness in a bid to offer a refined guest experience.

To celebrate the partnership, JW Marriott has launched a 'Barre-to-Bar' experiential pop-up and regular barre classes at JW Marriott Singapore South Beach, and will soon roll it out to key gateway cities in the region including Shanghai and Seoul next year.

Starting November 26, guests can look forward to the monthly Barre to Bar Brunch package at JW Marriott Singapore South Beach, which will include a morning barre workout followed by boozy Sunday brunch with free-flow Taittinger Brut champagne at Beach Road Kitchen for SGD$158++ per person.
