The merger of American Express Global Business Travel (GBT) with Hogg Robinson Group (HRG), a global B2B services company specialising in travel management, is expected to provide corporate clients and travellers with a comprehensive range of products and services leveraged by their combined strengths in technology, talent and geographic presence.

As of July 20, American Express GBT has moved ahead with integration plans to further hone their competitive edge from the acquisition. The company will capitalise on existing infrastructure and technology capabilities, while pushing growth from the expanded geographic footprint. The HRG brand will remain in place during the integration process.
