Asia Pacific MICE Business Festival 2019 (APMBF 2019) concluded its seventh edition this year on a high note on April 5, 2019.

Over the course of the two-day event, 90 exhibition booths, 30 buyers' tables and 50 MICE company tables were set up at the Suwon Convention Center for the business networking event. The exhibition booths, in particular, included local governments,  CVBs, convention centres, related organisations, as well as MICE companies. In total, about 400 one-on-one meetings were done between buyers and sellers.

Other highlights of the APMBF 2019 include a keynote address by Professor Jaeboong Choi of the Sungkyunkwan University on Industry 4.0 and the MICE business model, a special welcome dinner for guests, an education session, as well as a special Suwon City tour.

For the education session, PCMA Knowledge Exchange kicked things off with a look at the future of meetings and events. Antonio Codinach, regional business director of PCMA APAC, walked participants through some of the latest industry trends and updates. Additionally, four more education programmes were organised on smart MICE technologies, blockchain and branding strategies.
