BestCities Global Alliance, an alliance of 12 cities, has awarded industry advisor GainingEdge, who has been managing the alliance since 2009, a renewed three-year contract.

SINGAPORE - BestCities Global Alliance, an alliance of 12 cities, has awarded industry advisor GainingEdge, who has been managing the alliance since 2009, a renewed three-year contract.

Currently, the alliance consists of 12 member convention bureaus including Berlin, Bogotá, Cape Town, Copenhagen, Dubai, Houston, Madrid, Melbourne, Singapore, Tokyo and Vancouver.

The renewal comes at a time as BestCities targets to grow its reputation in helping international associations and destinations build legacies and expand its global footprint through partnerships and knowledge creation, bringing about creative client solutions by working together with other member cities.

And GainingEdge, a global specialist cosulting firm providing advice to the conventions and meetings industry, will continue this vision of creating positive impact through business events as well as furthering the work of the alliance, with this contract renewal.
